Ya'll should not be so eager to see this happen. Pavlik fans used to feel the same misguided way prior to the Hopkins-Pavlik fight.

how the **** did he manage to beat hopkins' daddy twice i have no idea.

 

Most fans and experts thought Taylor won that 2nd fight vs pavlik. Taylor fought well but should have lost twice vs Hopkins.

 

A big, fast southpaw who boxes smart and carries knockout power without forcing it...yeah, Hopkins isn't winning that one. If Dawson doesn't fall into the lulls he does from time to time, Hopkins isn't winning that fight, either.

It's a fantastic achievement that Hopkins could do what he's done, but that doesn't mean he'd do near as well against a different style of fighter than the types he looks his best against. He's betting that Dawson's mental lapses will give him the openings he needs to land the lead right...Bute wouldn't provide those same mental openings.

 

Bute has never faced an A fighter like B-Hop. Many can even say he has barely faced B opposition. but I think hopkins beats him. he is just too skilled and crafty.

 

Personally I wouldn't bet against Hopkin's. He would probably find a way to beat him.

 

B-Hop Would not Let BUTE hit him clean! He would use the ring and Hit Bute Enough to Pull a UD. B-HOP Would steal Rounds!
