Kessler is a better version of Jermain Taylor.

Bhop by UD, he wont be able to stop Kessler who is too spirited to go down but too basic to trouble a master boxer.

Besides the fact Kessler is not like Jermain Taylor :)lol::lol::patsch) TS said prime for prime, not prime Kessler vs 40 year old Hopkins.

mm prime Kessler, Calzaghe, Reid and several primes would take 47 year old Hopkins, but we are talking primes for both fighters.

Prime Hopkins would beat the white right out of Kessler. Two words: Kelly Pavlik. Same style, same tattoos, same outcome.

The Kessler who fought Calzaghe was a level above the faded version who fought Froch imo, much faster and crisper punches.

Either way I think Prime Hopkins beats Prime Kessler something like 117-111.
Prime Calzaghe would beat Prime Hopkins though imo.

Taylor is more athletic than Kessler, and more wild. That's usually not a good combination, but its a combination that gave Hopkins problems.

Kessler, while more skilled than Taylor, is more methodical, which plays right into Hopkins hands. And STILL...... that was far from a prime Hopkins that Taylor "beat".

    Prime Hopkins = 97-01.

Hopkins woudl beat Kessler with one hand tied behind his back because he would completely control the distance and pace of the fight. Kessler is way too predictable for Hopkins. Heck, i think the Hopkins of RIGHT NOW would beat a prime Kessler.

Come on, after seeing Hopkins neutralize most of Dawson's work, he would make Kessler look terrible. He wouldn't land one flush, right hand.
