Hopkins doesn't have many options now.

    Murat as mando
    Cleverly or Shumenov as unifications.

Cleverly would probably make him the most dollar.

    How does this fight go?

Your avi alludes to no bias

I personally think Cleverly would win by decision, his style is a nightmare for B Hop. Fully expect most to disagree with me though.

I'd just like to remind anyone picking Cleverly that Tony Bellew was outboxing Cleverly before Cleverly hit him in the dick to slow him down.

Cleverly could win the fight if he got some more expirience by fighting top 10 opponents. He has been matched poorly since he won the world title.

Cleverly is far too basic to beat Hopkins.

I think Cleverley can follow the Calzaghe blueprint. Hop cant fight with a workrate so Clev could do this by keeping busy alone.

That is his only chance though, if he sits back Hopkins can easily win enough rounds to get the decision.

Whatever advantages Clev would bring, he doesn't have the ringcraft to make them count.
Clev would try his hardest until the final bell, but he will have been taught quite a few lessons by Hokins. Bhopal by comfortable UD.

I'd say Hopkins on points if they were to fight now- I agree that Hopkins has few viable options on the table now.

    This is ridiculous.

Cleverly has 2 mandos to get out of the way first, by which time Hopkins will be 50.

Cleverly will spend the next 2 years hyping every fight on the back of a potential showdown with B-Hop.

The only reason Hopkins even mentions Cleverly’s name as it’s an easy big pay day for him. Cleverly probably thinks Hopkins wants to fight him for legacy purposes!

Surly a big unification fight would supersede a mandatory? If they really wanted the fight, im sure they could make it happen

Hopkins takes Cleverly to school and spanks him, every round he goes back to his stool to talk to daddy would be like Hopkins putting him on the naughty chair before another 3 minutes of education.

Cleverly has only a high output to trouble B Hop, absolutely nothing else, and Hopkins ring craft, guile, smart shots and ability to control the pace of a fight mean Cleverly has little chance.
