154lbs was stretching it it for Roberto, Sure he did it but...
    Anyway, B-Hop by UD.
    Middleweight is not for Duran.

    B-Hop by UD.
This is his weight division but I doubt he would KO Duran

Duran was not even a particularly great 154 pounder in my estimation.

    Hopkins UD.

Hopkins is/was simply too big, strong and sharp at 160 to ever lose to a smaller fighter. Hopkins by wide decision or late stoppage. And if the fight is set for 15, no way Duran makes the final bell.

To beat Hop at 160 you had better be big and fast and be able to hit. 3 qualities RD didn't have at middleweight.

Hopkins, no problem. I dont think Manos de Piedra was even that great at 154, Hopkins would have made him look like Pies de Piedra at 160.

No ko here, the Hopkins that fought Jones for the MW belt, would lose to the Duran that fought Hagler, saying that, Hopkins got alot better after he fought Jones and then Mercado twice, by the time he fought Tito he was a master in his own right, and very comfortable at 160lbs. This version would had beat duran by UD, after all RD was a LW, that ate his way all the way to SMW.

Im surprised Hopkins didnt try and make this fight happen, with Duran being a naturally smaller fighter. Hopkins could add Duran to his list of smaller fighters he beat
Hopkins UD if prime or Hopkins by stoppage if it was the Duran that lost to Joppy.

Duran wasn't a great MW, but he was a very, very good one. Let's don't forget he gave Hagler a tough fight. I think Hopkins would beat him, but by no means would it be an easy fight. Duran that fought Hagler was not the Duran Joppy did what he wanted. Duran that gave Hagler a tough time most likely loses a decision to Hopkins, cuz lets remember at that point Duran still had an iron chin and fought more technical. I think Hopkins by SD. Duran's right hand when he fought Hagler was still a force as Hagler's face was proof of that. That version that lost to Hagler beats Tito no doubt about that one.

Bad matchup for Duran. Styles makes fights. Duran was one of the all time greats but was a blown lightweight fighting at middleweight. Hopkins is just so much bigger and would pose many problems to Duran with his style. Hopkins is a mover ,just the type of fighter that made Duran looked bad. Duran is 5'7 and Hopkins is 6'1 in height.

Hopkins is one of the best middleweights of all time and Duran is the best lightweight of all time
