congrats to Hopkins! :happy RJJ/Hopkins has to be made win or lose for roy against calzaghe, its a big money fight and the perfect ending to both their careers BTW hopkins KO's this version of Roy Calzaghe will probabily retire after he beats Roy Jones unless its a close fight or the long shot of a RJJ win opening the way for a rematch in Cardiff Pavlik will do well to come back from that it was a lacy style beating. Go back to 160 couple of easy fights then maybe arthur Abraham who i think Pavlik could beat or Paul williams
i dont wanna see it honestly.....though B hop looked amazing in his last fight, he wont look like that against Roy...and Roy wont look great against B-hop....it'll be a slow fight, they're styles just dont mesh for excitement in my book plus i think B hop still has better fights out there, like Bute or Dawson...and if Roy loses against Calz he should just hang up the gloves
You need to wish and pray for a Jones win, at least Hopkins will, because it'll be unlikely if RJJ loses that one....Jones just might very well hang them up also.... But... If Roy Jones can pull it off, then a rematch with Hopkins, because of their respective last fights with P4P fighters, would be absolutely huge !! Can you just imagine these EGOS going at it during the 24/7 countdown ?
bute? dawson? lets be realistic RJJ/BHOP 2 should've happened a few years ago, but its the perfect ending to two great careers, a rematch in the making for years. yes, roy's washed up and Hopkins would KO him but i think it would an action fight, just the build up (24/7) would be awesome
I would love this fight, and I think it is the one fight that you would see both men with nothing else on their minds. They both would not want to lose this one.
