I would always root for Bernard over Roy

But truth is , when both fighters were at their best , Roy would always defeat Bernard .

Sadly there are question marks with Jones career like when he fought Hall.
Hopkins had improved and I think would have really studied Jones, and what troubled him.
Jones had a tough time with Griffin and I could see Hopkins effectively using the same hold and walk Jones back and work on the inside to make it competitive.

As to who wins, we wont know as different weight divisions can make a difference and both have had highs and lows at LHW.

I would favour Jones, as Hopkins has had trouble with fast, two handed fighters his own size, but think it would have been competitive

Jones by UD in his prime RJJ was a horrible styles match up for Hopkins. Always just too much speed and athleticism for him.

    Jones by decision.

If they were naturally the same size, I'd still go with RJJ by decision. Hopkins having to move up to face RJJ would just make it even harder for B-Hop to win.

RJJ was a great fighter and all wrong for B-Hop.
