Bernard Hopkins VS. Roy Jones............... now!?!?!

:good This was my initial reaction aswell.

That said, I'm also out of the counting out Hopkins business, So.....

 

Hopkins UD. This would have been great if it would have happened when they talked about the rematch years ago.

 

I initially thought "Hopkins KO" but after thinking about it, RJ does have the type of style that bothers Hopkins. I think it would be very close either way. RJ is too savvy to get KOed by Hopkins IMO. Besides, i doubt Hopkins presses the action because he knows RJ still has hand speed and power so he'll be weary. It wouldn't shock me if RJ won a close one. But still got Hopkins. This fight would be very boring.

 

Agree. Jones would always be a bad style for Bernard. Even now RJJ wins this one although a lot closer.

 

lolol You guys serious? Jones would get absolutely schooled and or stopped by Hopkins. Jones has zero heart anymore(don't think he ever really had to use it exept tarver I) and although both fighters are way past it, jones is shot to death and Hops training and style have kept him somewhat younger than 44. Jones has no chance of beating any world class fighter anymore. His unorthodox style would not bother hopkins at all since Jones is not Jones anymore, not even a shell of his old self. People point to the Shieka win, who the F#$% is Shieka? Jones loses badly now.

hate to say it jones was one of my favs growing up but he is washed i see hops stoping him jones needs to hang them up
