    Kovalev is karate-chopping side-out with the jab. Kovalev is looking for a right hand. Hopkins shoves him with a Heisman trophy right stiff-arm. Kovalev goes down. Not ruled a knockdown, and no warning to Hopkins. Kovalev is jabbing the body as Hopkins goes side to side in a corner. Hopkins navigates free and claws out with his jab. Kovalev is throwing away his jab and chops Hopkins behind the head with his right. Kovalev is jabbing the body consistently. Hopkins blocks a right hand and left hook while leaning back into the ropes. Hopkins sinks into a corner, jabbing, and plants a counter right on Kovalev while getting hammered on the arms. BIG right hand by Kovalev, cornering Hopkins, blocked. A couple of hard rights behind the head by Kovalev at the bell as Hopkins turns his back on him.
