    Kov really needs to shorten his shots up and slip to the side and work on some short uppercuts because Hop is ducking down whenever he senses Kov coming in with overhead shots.

    Kovalev is using jab feints and backing Hopkins up. Right hand and left hook by Kovalev. Hopkins is pushing out with his jab, hugging the ropes. Hopkins is letting his left jab trickle out into Kovalev's face. Hopkins misses a counter right as Kovalev moves in, hands down. Jabs into the guard by Kovalev, attacking patiently. Jab on the body by Kovalev. Hopkins is looking to step in and jab with Kovalev, but the quicker jab of Kovalev scores on the body. Looping right by Kovalev. Hopkins trades with him, buying space with a counter right. Hopkins circles out to the ropes, then changes directions. Hopkins dishes out some of Kovalev's own medicine, jabbing the body.
