He would obliterate Stevenson. All he was doing was showing respect to Hopkins -- an ATG -- right there.

Well 50 y.o. Hopkins is the first to do it, props to him. If I remember correctly, Kovalev's longest fight lasted only 8 rounds.

Kovalev fights on HBO and Stevenson fights on HBO. The fight isn't going to happen any time soon.

    BHop isn't confined.

Was a great fight, BHop did well for his age and Kovalev showed he is an elite boxer not just a puncher.

The only LHW I foresee giving Kovalev any trouble is Artur Beterbiev. That fight probably shouldn't be happening any time soon though, since Beterbiev commenced his pro career not that long ago. He's probably the heir apparent unless Kovalev refuses to relinquish the straps by then.

You can't remember what you don't even care to look up. Hopkins is the third fighter to go the distance in kovalev's PRO career. Darnell Boone put up a better fight than Hopkins and even knocked Kovalev down.
Various boxers have stopped Kovalev in the amateurs.

means less than nothing, being caught clean is a stoppage in the AM's lots of times

Yes that's true. I know that Kov was KO'd in amateurs, and the Boone fight, too. What I meant to say no one took so many shots from Kovalev who is very good puncher for sure for FULL 12 rounds.

Hopkins never came close to hurting Kovalev, who fought a very controlled and excellent fight. I had the sense he could have stopped it anytime.

I would like to see Kovalev fight Stevenson, but Adonis is scared.

Kovalev - Beterbiev has pain written all over it.:admin

Yeah, I'd like to see Krusher get Stevenson to accept a fight ASAP too, but it's not going to happen. And we know it's not Kovalev's fault.

Kovalev - Beterbiev = Krusher meets Destroyer. :toney:ko:dead

Don't know how that one goes, but I sure as hell wouldn't miss it.
