The Hopkins that fought Trinidad would eat SRL alive.

SJS19 is the man so I am gonna let him do the talkin for me. However wanna remind the board how SRL left the game at age 34 the first time, knockoed down at end of round 2 against Terry Norris and again by a counter right in round 7, won 2 rounds non officially according to Showtime and survive a beating at 140 pounds for the WBC Super Welterweight Championship of the World and then was Knocked out by Hector Camacho Sr at 168 pounds... So I would like your heads to think other than grow hair on them and see what Chad and Joe did to Bernard... Close rounds, one SD, one MD and they were supposed to be the top of the tops against a 43 and then a 47 year old man.

I totally agree... the more I have been thinking on this in the past hour, the less chance I think Leonard has...

I think SRL's work rate would take the fight away from Bhop. At this weight they are both still ATG status, but Hopkins likes to chill too much after unleashing outstanding shots, and SRL was awesome at stealing close rounds in the last 30 seconds for the most part.

    Leonard 117-111 Hopkins @ 160 imo.

It's hard to pick against Leonard, but I think Hopkins would narrowly edge it over 12.

Sugar Ray may take the first half of the fight, but his stamina wasn't that great actually, i can see Hopkins coming on late but losing a close decision like his first fight against Taylor.

Bhop is can be out worked (Calzaghe) and would be against SRL (like he did against MMH). Now I feel that even though SRL outwork MMH he lost that fight and the reverse was true between Bhop and Joe. However, Bhop aint no MMH and SRL sure as hell aint no Calslappy. SRL in a close and ugly ud/sd

Ahh the critical acclaim. I used to put so much detail into my posts before the endless tide of inbred morons here sapped my will

  11. I'm pretty sure Leonard would like Calzaghe against Hopkins and we know how that went

B.Hop only lost 116-112 to RJJ at MW, and people are picking Leonard by wider decisions. Leonard does NOT beat the best version of Hopkins at MW.

If this actually happened, the people who picked wrong would just cry about Hopkins picking on smaller fighters again.
