Is this a joke???? you normally seem pretty rational..... Hops, never fought at 154, but i guess he got kinda close for the DLH fight and the way he trained I feel he could probably shed the other 2 lbs and not suffer any ill effects....But Hopkins height reach and ring smarts make this a blow out.... I would be surprised if Terry could survive the 9 that DLH went....at 160 and above Hop's chances increase with every ounce
THis is not even close, there is no doubt in my mind that Hopkins would have kod Norris.... Hopkins was knocking a lot of guys out in his prime MW days.. There is nothing Norris could do to beat Hopkins Norris is faster and would win some rounds and look good doing it but not for long ... Norris would take a lead in the early rounds but by the mid rounds Hopkins would start getting to him and the knock him out somewhere between 6 and 8 rounds... Kind of like his fight with Oscar. But the ko would be ones to the chin that do him in. Ps theres a reason that Norris never called out the elite MW as he would have gotten kod.. Instead he called out or fought smaller guys.. Plus Hopkins is a pretty big Mw.
Norris was a natural 154 pounder. he should at least do better than the former Lightweight De La Hoya? Not saying he would win. but Norris has speed a good jab & good movement. could trouble Hopkins early on, like Anarci said. but question is could Norris hold up to Bernards late asault & escape with a decision win? decent fight, but by means a blowout for Hopkins.
