Bernard Hopkins Wants David Haye!

Though I have no doubt in my mind that Hopkins out boxes Haye I personally dont care to see the division made into a side show again ..

 

This is a fight I'd like to see

 

Very, very smart.

Bernard's been eyeing that final feather in his cap, to rival Jones' accomplishment moving up and beating a weak heavyweight titlist. He's said that guys like Maskaev and Holyfield were ideal, but that he'd never fight a Klitschko (way too big, skilled to boot). Haye is a perfect target.

 

I personally dont really know what to think of this. On the one hand Bernard is way too old to continue fighting. On the other, hes just one of those guys who knows how to win.

Bernard all the way to heavyweight? Even through all the downside thinking I have about Bhop, it would be a bad idea to count him out against anyone.

 

Hell yea!!! Hopkins would make Haye his *****. I want either Hopkins, Adamek or the Klitchkos to get a hold of Hayes.

I have a doubt he can beat Haye. Haye is fast and punches great. Haye's speed with that right hand would give Hopkins big problems.

 

i actually think bernard could beat haye he could outbox Him But hayes alot bigger stronger so id give haye the edge and hes younger

I gotta hear Bernard say this outta his own mouth before I believe this ****.

 

He's said it. He wants a HW title belt but only in a situation where he has a good shot at winning using his ring intelligence. A smallish, weak HW titlist is exactly what he wants in his crosshairs.

 

Hopkins has said this before, a while ago. While Haye was still at cruiser and was cruiserweight champ.

Somehow he didn't quite seem like he really meant it when he said it, and sure enough nothing has come of it and he hasn't spoken of it much.

 

Speed does give Hopkins problems ie : Jones ,Calzaghe ,Taylor but im not sure Haye has the work rate to beat Hopkins ..Hopkins will be in his face all night taking some of that power away ..And you will need an arsenal full of tricks to best Hopkins. That right would be taken away from him in this fight .

 

It's about time Hopkins fought someone bigger than him
