I could name 100 guys with a better resume than him.

Who is his best win over?
And where does that fighter rank all-time?
Has he ever beaten a fellow top 100 ranked fighter, in their own weightclass?

Everyone knows he beat Taylor. Tell me one fighter in history who fought so many top fighters and never got dominated, even in his 40's ?
I can't believe people are holding the Taylor fights against him: Bernard was 40, killing himself to make weight so he didn't have stamina, and still outclssed the guy when he wanted to, and beat him in most people's view.
I wanna hear: tell me 30 fighters better than Hopkins- No way !! Prime Hopkins, the one who fought Glen Johnson and Trinidad, beats every middleweight ever aside from (maybe) SRR and Monzon (SRR was better than Nard but 160 wasn't his best weight. Monzon I feel has a good chance stylewise for Hopkins, but Hopkins is a better fighter).

3 top fighters (Tarver, Tito, Johnson) did not win a single round / minute against him ! Ya'll musta forgot !!!

    Any time, man.

I am right in saying that Hopkins has never beaten a great figher in his prime though. Surely you won't disagree there?

This fight is NOT signed. According to an article in todays Cleveland Plain Dealer, they have not agreed to the financial terms yet. However, if BHop takes this fight, he deserves all the credit in the world. In his last outing he took on one of the fastest and most awkward fighters in or around his weight in Calzaghe. Now if he takes this fight he'll be facing one of the most lethal fighters around his weight; the same guy who beat the man who dethroned him. That's pretty freaking gutsy if you ask me!

He ran against Taylor, and got his Cream of Wheat man lookin' ass dominated TWICE and didnt outclass ****. He himself got outclassed, but Hopkins' nutswingers like yourself turn a blind eye to that. Prime Hopkins would have gotten his ass handed to him by Hagler, a middleweight Toney, Duran, a middleweight Hearns, Leonard, and Monzon, Taylor and Pavlik.

He did look good against Tarver however.

If you honestly think Taylor dominated Hopkins than I understand that you didn't watch the fights. It's like saying Cassamayor dominated the fight with Santa Cruz just because he got the decision.

And listen, I respect the guys you mentioned but you are insane:
Pavlik and Taylor are at Hopkins's level now only because he is 40+. When he was 30, he totally outclasses them, they barely win a round.

Duran is way to small for Hopkins and has no chance. Leonard is a genius, but he wasn't a real middleweight, so he may beat a prime Hopkins once out of four times at 160. His "win" wasn't against a prime Hagler, and he matches up worse against B-hop.

Hearns is not durable enough at 160, he would have also lost, probably by decision, after being dropped at least once.

Monzon is a tough style for Hopkins and may win a decision against him. But Hopkins is a better overall fighter. It's a shame that you don't understand his greatness and his ability to be even money with the best fighters in the world when he is a senior citizen.

You might want to add to that, who has knocked down every fighter he has ever faced.

You sir are a half-wit hater. Plain and simple. Just another zombie crying for bloodlust. Bernard wins any way he can. Which is in fact the one element that stands out over everything else. Hopefully you will come to find the gross error's you have in your :nut perception of what boxing is.

Borenard didnt beat Taylor. Taylor beat his overrated ass TWICE and you gay ass Hopkins dick lickers have heartburn with that sad fact. One fighter who never got dominated? Certainly not Borenard. All of them have at one time or another. Bernard was too chicken**** to face one guy who would have easily done it, Mr. Toney, and Borenard spent much of his time at middleweight fighting no name jobbers, like Morrade Hakkar and Howard Eastman and Robert Allen 4 times, rather than fight REAL guys.

30 guys? Not real hard, but I'll give you 10 off the top of my head.

    Ali
    Leonard
    Robinson
    Duran
    Heanrs
    Hagler
    Holmes
    Toney
    Taylor
    Clazaghe

Prime Hopkins gets his ass handed to him at any weight By Mr. Toney, including a street fight right now.
