ROFLMAO Lacy was just a hype job & as it was Slappy tried to back out of the fight "injured" really he was scared, Enzo kicked his ass & MADE him fight Lacy.
Roy was shot when Calzaghe got to him. Dont you remember Slappy was ridiculing that fight till it was offered him then suddenly Roy was back to being an ATG ROFL.
Bernard Hopkins finished Slappy No way in hell The Rhonda Valley Slapper ever beat Bernard.
Bernard is still kicking ass Slappy is sniffin, drinking chasing ho's & killing little rabbits. Slappy wanted no part of a rematch even at home in Wales. He knew he'd get levelled :rofl:rofl

    Thread, Time For Truth Moment:

In the classic pages of boxing of history the legacy of Bernard Hopkins is recorded in the All Time Great chapters of the sport.
The ATG Bernard Hopkins is presently in a whole different, higher universe than that of Joe Calzaghe's, and the trip is, it is still being written.

While the resume of Bernard Hopkins consumes a whole chapter in the record book of Boxing, the legacy of Joe Calzaghe is merely a small foot note.

    Wrong!

Joe ruined Lacy- who would've been a world champ still now if he'd have ducked Super Joe and well on his way to the Hall of Fame.

He also spanked Jones and pretty much ended his relevance- similar to how Froch did to Bute. :deal

Calzaghe's legacy is ****. Lucky to get in HOF.

Hopkins is clearly on another level and an easy HOF'er, and ATG.

That's just the way the cookie crumbles. :yep

Calzaghe defeated Hopkins when Joe was in the absolute twilight of his career.

    Deal with it. :deal

slappy Calzaghe does not deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Hopkins. Any decent fighter given the opposition he faced in most of his fights plus the undeseved dec's he received, could be 46-0 Calzaghe is a Welsh Fairy

Joe Frazier beat Ali, but where do they both reside in boxing history?

Jake Lamotto beat Sugar Ray Robinson, but how do their legacies compare?

Joe's narrow win over an old Hopkins is definitely the high point in his career, but that really is a problem.

It's the low point in Hopkins career as it is the only point in his prime when he was schooled.

He was schooled by Jones Jr but he was green, he was schooled by Dawson when he was past it, he was schooled by Joe in his prime. :deal

0 thanks to a robbery nothing more. Never legitimately beat ONE elite boxer in his life EVER. That is undeniable fact.
