Bernard "Lights Out" Hopkins...

I don't dream about boxing. Usually about women or flying with my arms out. I once dreamed I was with Angelina Jolie and it was very good, except for when I woke up.

Ah I remember that old Floyd/Hatton defcon thread. After the result I revived the thread and gave him props for the great analysis and call.

Mr Kool is an eerie dude but his predictions are usually right on the money. Man I really hope he's got his pick correct again. War BHOP!!!

 

It really has been. I can just feel it. I certainly hope none of the JC mafia takes my prediction as that I don't like Joe, because he's fun as hell to watch, and I've found him quite funny too in interviews and stuff. Just what I feel coming.:good

 

Calzaghe is quicker, more awkward, has a steel chin, (pops isn't a solid banger anyways) more stamina, higher workrate, and can fight a full 3 minute round, for 12 rounds, Popkins CAN'T..and he's 7 years younger, bottom line the old fart isn't winning this fight..

SAS, I'm normally the last guy to go with appearences and muscles when it comes to strength. thats not what this is based on. It just looks like Hopkins is taller, broader and physically harder. And given his past fighting style and that he's a hard physical fighter I think that his added size will translate into added strength in the ring. So yes in this case I am willing to base my analysis of strength on appearences.

MR KOOL is a moron, he said he was pissed at Taylor for losing to a "white geek like Pavlik" or something even more idiotic along those lines...and then predicted Taylor beats him in a rematch (we know what happened there).

I'd take anything he says with a grain of salt.

If Calzaghe is the best fighter Bernard has ever faced, what gameplan other than bringing a Tommy Gun to the fight would help him? It's not like RJJ vs Hopkins was close.
