had he been the aggressor and actually tried to fight instead of doing his best John Ruiz impression he could have won. Joe was nervious and off his game in the first 3 rounds. BHop = John Ruiz which is jab and grab and clicnh and hold like an octopus that is why he lost. Disgrace.
Hopkins should have added an additional strategic member to his "Dream Team" - Yea the one and only John The Quiet Man Ruiz..At least he knows how to jab and grab effectively enough to win fights with it Naw but in all honesty both fighters deserve credit. For Hopkins to still be fighting at 43 speaks volumes as far as his love for the sport of boxing, Sure he is making a **** load of money but not a lot of people will put their 43 year old body through that type of ****.
But in reality Hopkins is not getting hurt in these fights so he can still go through these bouts. If Bhop was getting pounded in every bout then I would understand but his fighting style allows him to get through fights with minimal damage so he might still be fighting for some time now
