    He did beat some good quality underated fighters Howard Eastman being one.

    Let's be honest.... Ward vs Hopkins would be THE most boring and terrible fight of ALL time.

    Bernard is a dull spoiler these days and never that exciting in his prime, and Andre Ward IS the most boring fighter in the world of the last 60 years at least.

    Nobody needs to be subjected to that fight. Not even rapists and peadophiles deserve it

    Bhop has repeatedly said he will not fight Ward. "Ward is the future,,,I'm 47 years old" I can respect that from someone that has accomplished so much.

    When I think of a throwback fighter, and old school fighter, the one semi-active fighter that comes to mind is James Toney..

    Jamess Toney is the epitome of a throwback fighter.. I mean the man is a genius inside the ring.. Pure artistry..

    Bernard Hopkins is nowhere near as skilled as Toney...

    Why do you think he has to resort to so much holding instead of slip-n-sliding and punching his way out on the inside like Toney does??

    Because he's limited so all he can do when the action gets close is to clinch like a hoe..
