Mayweather is hype .... Good boxer but Hopkins has put his ass on the line much more than Floyd .... He faced young lions often

longetivity is also in b-hops favour: from the last 20 years I have 5 fighters in my top 30: b-hop is top 30, above mayweather who is slightly above lennox lewis. Jones and pacquiao are top 20.

Yes thats why Hopkins has beaten better opposition/

But Mayweather has won World titles at SFW, LW, LWW, WW, and LMW.

I think that just about shades over Longest reigning MW champ, and LHW champ. When you compare achievements

I would say BHop ranks higher. Win or lose tonight, Mayweather and Hopkins are close in the rankings.

Also skill wise, Mayweather edges him due to his natural atheleticism.

Funny thing is, Hopkins referred to Mayweather as the top guy of their era during the Mayweather-Hatton post fight press conference.

hopkins beating tito > any win of floyd. Floyd never is the underdog in a fight, partially that is because he is damn good but also because he never face top opposition, let him beat martinez at 154 or in 4 years face khan at 147 and beat them then we can rank him above b-hop.

Yup. As usual people can't separate their personal feeling and be objective. People will bring up Bruseles and Baldomir, but not Hakaar, Carl Daniels, Robert Allen (3 times), and talking **** about Toney and RJJ only to wait in a terrible division for DLH to come up to a division he had no place in.

  14. its a close one id say Floyd edges it

floyd takes this, make a poll...at1 is a notorious for his criticism of floyd, so he will be biased...hopkins had 20 plus mw defenses but many of them were against woeful opposition. and most of his big wins have come against smaller fighters. floyd is a legitimate 5 division champ, hopkins 2...5>2...
