Mentally after 5 rounds Taylor is done I 've always said that he was fine against Joppy and other fighters. Sturm was the guy Taylor should have challenge as champion first on the championship stage. Jeff Lacy might be worst than Taylor don't get fooled by that win. Hopkins really didn't want to fight Taylor he wanted pass the torch at 160 and move up to 175. Who is now the worst for ware Taylor or Hopkins not Bernard he is fine I guess thats what happen when you cheats Hopkins beat Taylor and it caught up with him.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Taylor is a great athlete who happens to box. He's just not a great boxer.

No he didn't. How? It was the first fight that Taylor really got beat down in anyway, and he came back and did better in the rematch. Ruined??? I think not.

Well he sure doesn't see it that way, cause if you read his article in the ring magazine issue on why he would beat Calzaghe, he credits hisself for being the one to Damaged Jermaine Taylor after those 2 fights. And Hopkins said again on the press tour how he ruined Taylor.

I'll say this. If Taylor had lost to Hopkins, two things would have happened to him that didn't. He probably would have avoided Manny Steward, and he probably would have paid greater attention to his still glaring technical flaws sooner, thus possibly avoiding the Pavlik beatdowns.

But how Hopkins can take some kind of "credit" for these things not happening is only logical in his mind.

No, Taylor was ruined by not having to face guys his size or bigger on continual basis, his lack of killer instinct and last by his lack of stamina, He is like a bigger Zab Judah.
