    for Haye/Vitali fight,

Just seen an article on my iphone sky sports news app.

stating that he has not ruled the fight out. however they would need to speak after september 8 and after the local elections have taken place.

Bernd continued to say that Haye/Vitali would be a massive fight and a fight that all the boxing fans would "die to see" its the biggest fight in boxing at the time.

He also did not rule out a rematch with Wlad? Am I hearing things?

he stated he was impressed with Haye's performance against Chisora and will do his best to make it happen.

Its a waiting game... but the future looks bright, lets just wait and see.

Its looking good at the moment but anything could change.

hopefully it does happen though :D

just thought id share this as it came from the horses mouth (well I hope)

Looking like there is a good chance it happens.

Whatever people say about his performance vs Wladimir, you know it's going to generate interest and that big fight buzz.

Yeah definitely. I personally thought Haye performed **** against Wlad he spoke all that **** (JUST LIKE KHAN DID) and did not live up to his word which put me off him alot. He needs to come up with something spectacular to regain a fan (not that he cares)

But I do still watch him and his fights bcoz he is a good boxer and brings excitement to the ring

Boente always is like this when talking to the British press though, K2 want to remain marketable in the uk, he's a businessman, when he gets interviewed in germany about the same stuff he sings from a different songsheet

Surely if thats the case he wont come across as professional and marketable if thats what he is intending to do. he will just be know as a bullshitting twat.

But I have hope alot of being talked it down last time about Wlad.

    We can only hope eh!

It's funny the partisan nonsense here on the Brit forum.
All you Boente-haters are funny. Of course he's a snake - he's a successful promoter.

Haye and Booth are obviously not at all easy or reasonable to deal with either. They are playing a very risky game assuming that they can demand another big slice of the pie like they did last time. They have turned down offers to fight Vitali within the last 12 months, that is clear. It might pay off, it might not. Good luck to them - but if it flies back in their faces they have only themselves to blame.

Yeah dont get me wrong it takes 2 to tango and both are to blame!

    Lets just see what happens!

I have a feeling it might pull off

I think a lot depends on how Vitali does against Manuel Charr. If he struggles in that one he might call it quits.

Vitali's really been slipping clearly since 2010. I was saying he was the 'easier' brother for Haye when many others were saying "Wlad's easier 'cos he can't take a punch - Haye should steer clear of Vitali".

Vitali might just go for the one last big payday out of greed and come unstuck. Alternatively, he might beat Haye up and retire on a decent win.

But at 41 years old, and with the injuries apparently resurfacing, I wouldn't even count on him beating Charr - not 100% like I would have a couple of years ago.

It's interesting stuff. If Haye beats Vitali that would surely set up a Wlad rematch .... which probably isn't that interesting, now I think of it.
