Looks like Wladimir Klitschko vs. Alexander Povetkin is set to go for October 5.

They have agreed to all terms of the contract and are now just waiting for the go-ahead from the WBA.

This fight will not happen. There just trying to find a way out and blame Povetkin. If all else fails Wlad will pull out with a fake injury like he did for the Chisora fight. It was crazy Wlad ducked Chisora with a sholder injury and 2 days later he was seen playing gold in Flordia. What happen Chisora scared Wlad at the press conference so he pulled out and let Vitali fight him.

Report says they are waiting for the WBA to make a decision and if they turn it down Wlad has a fight set for September. Why would the WBA reject the fight?

They've been pushing Wlad to fight since last year only k2 made an appeal to get it postponed.

Bounter probably paid them off and has now made a statement so it looks like Povektin pulled out.

the fight will happen but you wont get to know how much Povetkin has had to agree to and how much Wlad has got away with - what was the result of the testing dispute?

The terms were pretty clear: Klitschko doesn't trust Rusada because they have very recently been involved in a doping scandal, where the sister of the president of Rusada was caught selling PED's. What makes this story an "Only in Russia" story, is that the president did not resign and still runs Rusada. He will easily take a bribe to falsify the test results to tarnish Wlad's reputation.

On the other hand, Povetkin doesn't trust Nada, the german version of the testing agency, because Wlad has contacts in all the right places in germany. He, or rather his manager, is worried that Wlad will come out clean no matter what.

In the end, they each are being tested by their pet organizations. I expect both to pass all tests with flying colors, and both not overly worried about the testing. The rest of the disputes, like the type of the gloves used (Klitschko insisted on using gloves custom made to fit his hand, Hryunov wanted to make him wear standard gloves, insinuating that Wlad's gloves might be made to favor his punching power *a claim for which he would have been sued anywhere but Russia*) as well as Vitali not being allowed to overview the hand taping process, and the total length of the handwraps being limited...if all that has been resolved, then the by far the most drawn out negotiations, lasting over 3 years, are finally over and two Eastern euros are going to make 23.5 milion dollars fighting outside of US.

It's quite a milestone really. Plus is must be burning the americans/brits, as exhibited by the butthurt of derrek ad dinovelt.
