Ignore him, he's a complete moron. Anyone who knows anything about Boxing knows that a stoppage over Page is very impressive

 

Page also seems to have pretty close points losses against Rising young Fighters. also Ud over Kevin McBride.

 

Page is a solid guy. Very good journeyman & yardstick for younger fighters. Extremely durable as well which is why a stoppage over him is a pretty big deal for a young fighter. Comes to survive for the most part but if he sees a way to win then he'll push for it

 

Ortiz is 20 in WBC already. Reports on him tell us he is too good to fight Cooper.
A titefight in 2012 is the plan, so they should give him someone better to fight.

 

Same here, I didn't hear anything about the fight until last night when I saw the pics on the site, and at first I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me.

I heard about the Williamson win, but still no word on Cooper's fight. I even asked my friend Jose Ribalta, as he lives down in that area, and he hadn't heard anything either.

 

or maybe after getting his ass kicked 30 times and not getting kod because the fights are 4-6-8 rounders...and being old and a part time boxer...hes worn the **** out...someones going to stop him sooner or later... if a car has 200,000 miles on it, its gonna break down any day..and when it does, it always gets credit for working fine the day before
when you lose 30 times...youre also not winning 30 times and you are not knocking anyone out 30 times..so that tells me hes not very good with no power... so once again...big deal

 

I can't find anything about the outcome of the Cooper/Ortiz fight. Ortiz should fight Solis when Solis gets well..........

 

are you crazy? do you even remember bert cooper or was this footage you had to youtube? bert cooper is 10 leagues above a trial horse/opponent with 34 losses and 21 wins.....21 wins against garbage....unless you consider kevin mcbride a great win,
bert cooper fought elite guys and beat some while page loses to them and beats no names

bert cooper goes 12 rds with ray mercer breaking his jaw in a slugfest, mercer top 10 guy at the time
moorer fight, incredible brawl, 5 knockdowns, almost koing moorer in 1st round...moorer top 10 and undefeated
almost knocked out holyfield in a real legit championship for the heavyweight title while zack page holds wins over Sebastian Koeber and Kevin McBride

cooper has fought at least 5 or 6 former or current heavyweight champs
while zach page is king of the 8 rounders...
