Yes, another Bert Cooper thread. But I was just thinking. Obviously Cooper is best known for a trilogy of all-out heavyweight wars in the early 90s with Mercer, Holyfield, and Moorer. I realized however, that Cooper was knocked down by Carl Williams in round 1 back in '86, and Holyfield and Mercer both knocked him down in round 1( all common knowledge), and although Moorer floored Cooper near the end of round 1, Cooper reversed the expected of round 1 by coming out flooring a formidable opponent. Does anyone think Cooper's tendency to go down early caused him to go for the kill from the very beginning?
