The man with the explosive right hand that came within a whisker of upending Holyfield vs. the man with the hook from hell that nearly toppled young Ali … both were flawed but both were dangerous. So what happens if they had met in our fantasyland of matchups? Take the best version of both as you see fit — maybe it’s the two I mentioned above, maybe you have a different idea. Both were up and down but were oh so close and yet so far away. If you wish, we can have Alice Cooper as the guest referee.
I’m going with Bert. I don’t think Henry can take the kind of demolition job that he’d do on the inside.
Cooper Cronk ringside analyst. I can’t wait until he starts talking about Bert’s village being on fire. BTW interesting fight. Henry was more consistent, but less spectacular. I like him to win a decision but Bert is in the fight if he chooses to be.
I think Smokin Bert tips it. Too much power for Henry, even tho he had a fair bit himself obviously. There's even a chance Bert stops him with our Enry bleeding!
Didn't Tony Fulilangi get knocked out exchanging hooks with Cooper? Also I have no idea how Tony was 36-1.
It's even stranger that Peter McNeely was 36-1 once. Fulilangi was certainly a more competent boxer and would have knocked out McNeely. But his record was padded as well with tomato cans.
Don Steele was like 43-0 with 43 knockouts. Love those midwest heavy types. The kind of guy Wilder would have gladly feasted on.
Didn’t you and @Seamus used to have the same avatar? I liked it better that way because it created chaos.
