    Dubblechin, its important to you that Gilroy was a very good fighter and no one is going to change your mind so I don't understand why your trying to make a 20-35th best fighter in the world what scribes have long termed world class. James big axe Broad is comparable and the best ranking he achieved was in that category and no knowledgeable fan would say he was a contender or world class-which by the norm is thought of as the top fifteen or so in the world. An argument from you would be if you listed at least one contender he beat (top 10 of his day) or at least someone in the top 15. Two of my buddies, Doug Demmings and Raphael Rodriguez by comparison did both briefly crack the top ten Ring rankings in their day-and both did beat top 15 boxers, yet neither is truly remembered as the elite "world class." Your just not aware of the nuances of this long used term.
