    Is Bert Sugar a 'hater' also? He has him @ #88 all time.

    Is it any different than delusional nuthuggers like yourself who come on here and tell us Jones was 'unbeatable' while fighting a bunch of police officers and bartenders? All the while refusing to fight the best fighters available to him?

    Let's not even bring up that wet paper Chin of Roy's or his Glass Heart.

    When we judge boxers we have to judge them by how they dominated in their era, as well as the greats they've beaten. We can say Roy Jones Jr is one of the best if not the best boxer who ever lived, but we cannot say he's one of the greatest. That's a huge difference.

    I don't think Ali is one of the greatest either, as great as he is, he only dominated one weightclass. I do not think any of these guys including Ali can compete with Sugar Ray Robinson so why do we always have to hold Roy Jones Jr up to the Sugar Ray Robinson standard? Nobody will ever be that great again because of boxing politics, and the amount of belts and weight classes.

    We can say Roy Jones Jr is one of the greatest of this generation of boxing, this era of boxing 12 rounds and having many weight classes and titles, yes Roy Jones is one of the greatest. But the GOAT is a different story and we should give up comparing the past to the present greats.

    Obviously Roy can't hold a candle to Ali's career or Robinson's and others.

    I'd like to see where Bert rates Jones tho out of the 100. Does anybody have a Sugar's top 100 list?

    Other than Hopkins and Pacquiao, what fighter of this generation is greater or has a better resume than Jones?
