Bert Sugar is a joke. His cigar smoking, detective outfit wearing schtick is played out.

 

LOL, Sugar was on HBO before and said this was a big fight, and new Ibragimov's name well. Sour grapes from Sugar.

 

Yea, because he talks about old timers everytime someone asks him a question. That makes him a boxing god. Look, I know about all of the old timers too... I don't have to talk about them every day as a way of pretending like I know what I am talking about. Bert Sugar knows his history, but he don't know anything more about the current boxing scene than your common ESB poster.

BTW... how is it, that no matter which man you are talking about on here. You manage to mention there dick, ****, sperm, ect... in every post? Are you obsessed with man ****?

Bert is obviosuly very very knowledgable, he is extremely biased to fighters who fought in black and white though.

 

Sugar was a failed Baseball writer that is the only reason he started following boxing. He is not the historian he pretends to be.

I give Bert credit for making it that far; when he was born, Friday Night Fights was chiseled onto stone tablets. :hey

I like Bert. He's one of the best boxing historians a casual fan, or any for that matter, could have access to.

 

Sugar is one of those people who love to hear thereselves talk.

 

Sugar is probably one of the most well respected Boxing historians out there today, he knows as much as one person could learn, without actually stepping in the ring.
