Agree with him? For me hell no. No way Holyfield won more then 4 rounds. That fight Holyfield only won rounds like 3,9,10 but round 11 could gone either way but i still give it to Lewis in which i had it 117-111 for Lewis. 116-112 would be good cause like i said round 11 was a close round but come on Holyfield winning 5 rounds? wtf.

If he scored the 2nd fight 115-113 for Lewis, then I'd agree.

I gave Lennox 9 rounds in the first fight.

Nope, and not the first time I'll have disagreed with Sugar either.

Still better than Ron Borges and his, quote, "razor-thin 115-114 decision victory" scorecard.

Is it any wonder some of the ringside journos had Evander winning in the second when they had such screwy scorecards in the first? One journalist had Lewis only winning 3 rounds in the rematch...go figure.

Just goes to show, just because you're a boxing journalist and perhaps even an experienced one doesn't mean you can't have bias and mistakes.

Particularly where Lewis is concerned. I hate this paranoia some brits have about what americans think of british fighters but he was a great fighter who was treated like **** over there.

Bert Sugar is just a man, every man see's things the way he wants to see them. Its the human condition.

I was abducted by aliens, they showed me the way. I now always 100% correctly score boxing matches. It's a gift you see.

At least he did better than some of the judges. I think I had it 117-11 or better for Lewis.

Holy clearly lost the first fight. The 2nd one was redemption for getting it badly wrong the first time. Problem is the second fight could easily have been scored a dra and was much closer.

The second fight could have gone either way. I think the judges gave it to Lewis because he got robbed the first time. I mean LL lost te 12th clearly but the judges still gave it to him. So ,all in all, a draw and a loss is fair.

The first fight was pretty much a pisstake - Lewis did everything but knock Holyfield out.

The scoring in the first fight hindered his fightplan for the second and basically made him fight Evander's fight - that and a combination of Holyfield fighting much better in the return made it much closer.

I had Lewis 116-113 in the 2nd fight, but wouldn't argue with anyone who had it to him by one or two rounds.

    118-111 first time around.

agreed. I still think Holy should have gotten more credit for the second fight as it could have easily gone his way. A draw and a loss reflects pretty much what went on in both fights, scorecard should have been reversed. I mean the scorecards in th ceind fight were way too wide, it was also some sort of bad judging.

I had Holyfield ahead by about a point in the second fight. Holy was just better in the second fight than in the first one, it had nothing to do with LL fightplan IMO.
