Did everyone forget how many times Cotto was hit by Demarcus Corley and people were saying "No way this guy will ever be at the elite level, he's so hittable"? Then he gets rocked and knocked down by Torres and even more people started jumpin off the bandwagon..

It's still earily people.. Berto has a lot to learn and he learned a little bit tonight.. relax.. enough of this "EXPOSED!" bs please..

So you don't like him. That would explain what you're saying. There was no indication he would have been KO'd. The whole time they were taping his glove, he was pulling towards the ring. He wasn't still hurt.

All this stuff was being said about Cotto after he fought Torres. I think this fight taught us more about Berto than him KOing bums in a round. He showed he has heart. And isnt afraid to mix it up when in trouble. He needs a little seasoning but that all depends on him. Im more a fan of Berto after tonight than before the fight.

    You guys are ****ing idiots.

Berto got lazy because Riveria wasn't doing **** all fight, he got lazy and got stupid and Cosme nailed him with a very clean and hard shot. He wasn't ready for it, he took it well, got up, and his legs looked fine.

The glove change was kinda bull****, but it didn't matter.

Berto has a lot to learn, but you dipshits writing him off already should be ashamed to be calling yourself boxing fans, **** most of you ESB's just ***** about everyone all the damn time, I wonder if you actually enjoy the fights.

Berto doesn't have a glass chin, and we learned he doesn't quite know how to handle a guy who's just in there to survive and is crafty... Cosme didn't come to fight tonight, and other than the one shot, he didn't land **** worth mentioning... Berto dominated the rest of the fight, and came close to stopping him a few times... I would of like to see Berto stop him, but he probably learned more in this fight than the last 18.

All you Berto haters need to shut the hell up. It was a very good uppercut from Rivera. Other than that, Berto whipped his ass and came back the next round and connected on a left hook that opened a bad cut over Rivera's eye. Berto was tremendous and dominated this fight with ease.

You guy's are talkin like Rivera is a big time power puncher, "thing of beauty my ass". He's only a decent puncher. I had more respect for Cotto when he got hit by Torres because Torres can punch. Your tellin me Berto could take a right hook from Cintron or even Zab Judah. I don't think so. To take those kinda shot's you can't get hurt and dropped by a guy who isn't a puncher.

Any boxer can drop you with a punch you don't see coming. ANY BOXER.

Watch the shot Cosme landed, didn't even look like it came from Cosme. It was a beautiful shot that Berto never saw coming.

That's the stupid **** with gauging chins, because it's not just the chin, it's the ability to see punches and roll with them and adjust to them. ANYONE can get KD by a shot if they don't see it coming, Berto didn't see it coming because he got complacent.

I dont understand how some people are saying that Berto might have been knocked out if it wasn't for the glove change "which I agree was a little bit of BS'. Also somebody said it was a long count. Berto was up at what 4 count ready to go. He got hit by a nice shot that caught him off gaurd it happens to everybody, RJJ got knocked down by davaulle or however you spell it, and I think RJJ had a pretty respectable career. Great fight though, plenty of action, nice thorough ass beatin givin out by Berto

No he wouldn't have got knocked out but some of these people need to admit that he was hurt by that knockdown. Before he got up he stumbled to the floor again. He was hurt and his leg's were a little shaky goin to his corner.

He was hurt, who's saying he wasn't?

He just recovered very quickly, but he was hurt. His legs didn't look shaky going back to the corner though.

Ohh i completely agree with your statement that he was hurt, if not he woudldn't have went down. I dont think he was still hurt when he went back to his cornor though, he seemed fine to me at the 7 count or so but I wasn't really looking when he went back to his corner so I might be wrong,

I was referring to a post by Geppy, that said Berto would have been knocked out if not for the bull****, he also said that he can't wait till Berto gets KTFO for some reason, He's hyped up alot but its not his fault, I would love to see him mature into a great fighter and join the rest of the great cruiser division, I dont understand why anybody would want somebody to fail, Thats just less great fights for the future
