That's simple to answer. Berto was looking like Rango.

Ur crying about a fighters head in another fihters chest? Thats illegal now? Since when? Ur saying setting up ur hard shots up top by throwing soft stay busy punches to the body while on the inside is illegal? Illegal pin down what the **** are u talking about? Lol all the best fighters in this sport find a way to win, they dont talk to the ref and get 'handicapped cuz they cant fight dirty.' At this level, there is always dirty fighting going on.

The only illegal I saw in the fight were the strikes behind Guerrero's head and when he carried Berto and spun him into the corner like a ragdoll. These were rightfully acted upon by the referee.

Sometimes the rabbit punches were accidental. But the one he was first warned about was blatant and clearly due to frustration. Berto isnt the most mentally stable fighter out there.

Berto initiated more. Guerrero wasn't averse to the pattern, however, and was billygoating. Berto used his elbows and forearms more, flipping them up out of that modified Philly shell as a barrier/weapon. Berto threw more rabbit punches. Guerrero was doing more hitting while holding and threw more punches on the break (and obviously the very late strike at the end)

Both were guilty of filthiness, but overall more so Berto.

I haven't seen the replays and not analyzed it to the extreme, but of what I saw live. Guerrero holds and hit Berto when he Knocked him down in both occasions more obvious in the 1st than in the 2nd, that thing alone says overall Guerrero takes the prize of being the dirtiest last night.

Guerrero was being held (right arm) both times, and just said **** it and walloped away with his left. His right was pinned in Berto's armpit. He made lemonade from lemons.

How was that.... Two wrongs doesn't makes one right ?

Being held didn't gave him to do the bigger wrong and use illegal tactics to Knock Him Down, could've been out to.

Referee could've stepped in and break them, if he saw the holding, but I think he forgot his contacts.

It's only wrong if the ref cautions against it and you keep doing it.

Berto insisted on clamping down on his right hand and tucking it away in his armpit. Guerrero had no recourse but to just load up and haul off with the left. The ref allowed it, discretionary call, so there's no reason for him not to have continued doing it. Legitimate knockdowns, both.

Berto was holding more, but Guerrero was throwing low blows and held Berto's head while he hit to cause the first KD, and headbutting a lot. A really dirty fight from him, but he got the win.

I disagree. But I guess it illustrates the fact there was plenty of holding being done by both. It seems there will be many viewpoints on this fight.
