Round ten to Berto, really? I thought 9 & 10 were as clear for Luis as 11 & 12 were for Andre. :think

You are dealing with some ***gots. Let them ***** and cry. Robbery. WTF are you smoking. You cant call a close fight a robbery. And the whores that do are giving Collazo all of the close rounds that he damned for sure didnt win clearly. The same breed of ***** that called Mayweather/ODH a robbery and Margarito/Williams. Just a bunch of young ass butt hurt fake boxing fans.

Super tough fight to score. Lots of rounds could have gone either way.

I know, during the fight I posted whomever wins the 12 will win the fight. If Collazo would of won he would of a got a split decision win. You are not dealing with remedial mofos.

i don't know if the judges were actually counting those little piddy pats when he was doing that shoeshining to the body on berto. some of the people that were with me think he could of probably knocked berto out if he saved his energy to load up his left instead of the shoeshining to the body. i think collazo really was on the verge of an upset, but both had their moments so that's what makes it a close fight. it was a very good fight as well as most close fights usually are

I don't shout robbery, because it was very close, although I had Collazo winning. There are many who say it could've gone either way... but the problem is... our polls suggest 80% thought it went Collazo's way. I mean how would you call a fight result which is supported only by 20%?

Let me tell you something, HBO was on Berto's ball all night, even if they tried to play the neutral part, they weren’t. Kellerman said things like that Berto might follow De La Hoya and Mayweather's footsteps, I mean after he called Paul Williams a combination of different to ATG legends, one must think he's actually getting paid for the hype (he's getting paid for the hype).

Simple note: if it was Larry Merchant in the broadcast team, now everybody would talk about robbery. Commentators have a huge impact on viewers, and if it's controversial, Larry never holds back himself.

Not robbery, just 80% think the HBO supported guy lost.

Sorry, but most people had a close fight with neither fighter winning going away. Collazo had some clear rounds he won and so did Berto. 116-111 is a travesty though.

You make some good points, but a poll is nothing but a poll.

no **** 114-113 is better:lol: the man never said he lost. about his daddy comforting him, i'm sure most fathers/coaches do that, and it's irrelevant to the outcome, but it sure isn't a sign of confidence of a winner to me:good

He took a gamble on the "bodywork" and it didn't pay out. At the time I was really impressed with his commitment to at least touching Berto's torso in every exchange...at times he dug in with some stiff power shots but mostly it was those soft snowfall drumrolls. I was not expecting this strategy from him at all, and likely neither was Berto's corner - and since Berto clearly didn't like it I began to think "Hey, any contact is good contact, and it will all pile up if he keeps chipping away at it...Berto may be athletic and in superb shape but his stamina has yet to endure a test at the elite level with a sustained attack to the body". Turns out, he was athletic enough and in good enough shape to absorb it and Collazo at that point had poured too much of himself into that tactic to turn back and regroup with a plan B. His attempts to switch gears and get back into a more characteristic counterpunching groove bore some fruit in the later rounds, but he'd largely punched himself out by then, and as we saw he could not close the show with four straight rounds of it.

A+ for effort and a bold strategy, it just fell flat.

You need some sort of sign from someone else outside the fight to tell you anything about a decision of a fight...!!!??? :nutlol Come on man, you are usually on par with your posts.

You would think that a workrate like that by Collazo would've wore Berto down in the latter rounds. It didn't which let me know that Collazo just was not landing hard enough punches in the judges eyes.

Berto got the nod from the HBO people....hence he wins.
Berto is more MONEY than Collazo as champion... (undefeated ect...)

Anyone who think's different is lying to themself.
(Berto already had 5 Rd.s in the bag before he even threw a punch)

What does this have to do with the fight? Did Collazo dominate to you like that?
