No robbery, the fight was very close and competitive. I had it 114-113 for Collazo but for me honestly the best call would be a draw which would let Berto keep his belt anyways.

As long as either man had a chance to win it in round 12, I'm satisfied with the verdict. Good post.

Could be any one or a combination of things; he doesn't have the power to break down a durable opponent in the middle (we already know he doesn't have one-punch KO power), or Berto is just really solid downstairs, or Collazo doesn't really know how to efficiently work the body over several rounds as it's never been his bread and butter so he was gambling with a tool he didn't have total mastery of...

I think that the judges thought that even though Collazo landed a lot of what I call punk punches...which is not any disrespect to Collazo, Berto landed the more meaningful shots

It was Berto that was hurt, more than once.

Berto's father yelled that Berto needed a knockout to win the fight!

Ledermann's card was fair, 7-5, but I had Collazo winning, no way did Berto win that fight.

You gave Berto the 10th round? Is this your first time scoring a fight?

:roll:Whatever man.. try telling that to the fighters who get robbed. See if they agree with your viewpoint.

And it was bad scoring IMO. Another case of two inexperienced judges scoring a championship bout... and one judge probably being paid off.

The worst that fight could have been was 6 - 6 a piece, and in that scenario Collazo would have still won because of the point deduction. Fight was close, but a good judge would have still seen a clear victory in Collazo's favor. If you don't agree then maybe YOU don't know how to score fights.

Round 10 was not tough to score at all. Round 10 was clearly Collazo round.

So you had a problem with the scoring, but you didn't have a problem with the point deduction:nut

Imo i thought Collazo clearly beat Berto. Berto was hurt in the 1st round. Some say he was off balance but that's bs excuse. Cause after Collazo hurt Berto in the 1st round, Berto fought like Hatton with too many clinching in which i'm glad the ref deduct a point of Berto. Imo Berto even though he barely survive prove easily that he's the weaker paper welterweight champion. Fighters at 147 pounds in Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, Williams ( if he can go down to 147 pounds) would beat Berto. I think even Pacquiao can beat Berto.
