Berto-Collazo: Don't act like this was a robbery Collazo fans!

Agreed, it was a bad decision, but to call it a robbery is utter nonsense. Kudos to you good sir!

 

IMOP I believe Collozao won the fight but I knew when it came to the decision that Berto was going to get the nod. I don't have a problem with him winning this fight because I like him to fight other welter weights but lets be serious 116-111 ? Im sorry but whoever had berto winning that many rounds is an idiot. 114-113 could of gone either way but I didn't see it that way. I had the same scored as Larry Merchant even though I dont agree with his score cards most of the time but thats just me. But this is in the bag for berto and I hope to see him fight against Quintana or Cintron next before taking on Shane, Magarito, Cotto, or Paul.

 

It's easy to see the 116-111 by doing this.

Some fans give Berto the 1st round ( which I thought he clearly won )

And the 4th round some score as 9-9 and not a 10-8. (I thought Collazo won the 4th)

And remember, the 3rd judge almost always sees a different fight, he has the completely different angle the other judges (who face each other) outside the ring.

Im not surprised by it but I completely disagree with it.

i only got to see the fight yesterday and first off thought it was a great a
fight and a great start to 2009,

to say a robbery occured is bs, i had berto winning the fight and i actually prefer collazo's figting style so in no way was this a biased decision

berto has seriously gone up in my estimation, he showed great heart which we have never got to see before fom him, he bit down and won that fight in the last two rounds and fair balls to him,

he wanted it more and those body shots really helped his victory

 

I had Collazo winning the fight, Hell, he made Berto's head flop around, at times, like a speed bad.

Harold Ledermann had the fight for Collaze and even Berto's father said that Berto needed a knockout to win the fight!

Collazo won that fight and criminal judges do not make a difference to the majority of the fans either, they know criminals when they see the scorecards!

I am not a Collazo fan. In fact, it was the first time I watch Collazo.

I think that Collazo did enough to win the title even though he lost the final round. I had it 114:113 for Collazo. And, yes, the judge that scored it 116:111 for Berto is an idiot.

I think it could be called "a robbery" because the wrong guy got the decision.
