Too bad Collazo doesn't have power.

    lmao

A newborn baby can kick harder than Collazo was punching at the 3/4 mark.

    Oquendo/Toney was a robbery

C'mon fellas, this fight wasn't a robbery. It was an extremely close fight that could've gone either way.

How could Lederman score the 7th for Collazo? He dropped his hands and landed next to nothing. I had it 114-113 Berto. I agree with the guy who gave the first to Berto. He was effective for the first thirty second untill he was stunned by the left hand. Even still, he regrouped, came back to stun Collazo, and control the last minute of the round. Collazo seemed like he gave up trying to throw effective punches around round 7 and relegated himself to being a shoe-shine windmill. Great effort though.

I had it one round for Collazo, however it was a good match and i cant contest the 114-113 for Berto. 116-111 is ****in ******ed. Its coming on again soon so im goin to rescore it and see if i think the same.

114-113 Berto...but would have NO PROBLEM with 114-113 Collazo...sorry, but any other score is kind of a stretch, which includes Harold Lederman's and Judge Stevie Wonder's.

What a ****ing fight tho!!!! Cant wait for the rematch (big respect to Berto for offering it right away!!!).

This was Collazo playing Rocky to Berto's Clubber Lang in their rematch.

He was letting Berto know he had nothing for him...psychological warfare, point Collazo.

    The one score did.

He got the nod because it was a close fight that easily could be scored for him...which coincidently the same thing could be said for Collazo.

This was a close fight. I swear on this site, there is no such thing as that....only blowouts and robberies.

I'm glad somebody started this thread I just got home and ran to the computer to talk about this. I can't believe this scoring. I picked berto to win but he didn't and watching his father console him afterward even he knew that his son had lost. its a shame that this keeps happening. boxing sux. Im so tired of this

This was a perfect fix for a boxing fiend like me, To start the new year. Here is how I had it round for round.

1.Callazo / but still as close to the mythical 10-10 as it gets and easily could go both ways with no problem argueme
    2.Berto
    3.callazo
    4.Callzao 10-8
    5.Berto
6.Callazo / In another one that could have got the fictional 10-10 if there ever was one
    7.Berto Dominant
    8.Berto Dominant
    9.Callazo Dominant
    10.Callazo Dominant
    11,Berto easily
12.Berto out willed him with big shots eventhough callazo's little shots were still landing.

I felt early in the fight it was going back and forth and callazo was really getting off on the inside (besides the straight left he landed in the first) while making Berto miss badly and look bad with the constant head and body movement. I thought his constant body punching was gonna break berto down even more than it actually did .Early in the fight for berto he was doing his thing when he used his legs and moved.

After the sixth round berto was doing more of what I said and handled his bix when he moved his legs. For callazo he found that if he threw body punches early in the round then berto's legs wouldn't work and callazo could take over on the inside. He was taking over and it looked like he was gonna KO berto in both the 9th and especially the 10th. Berto weather the storm and came out and took the 11th and 12th by out willing Callazo and landing the body punches earlier in both of those rounds. Callazo's head and body movement was all but diminished in the last 2 rounds but he was still showing the will. Especially in the 12th when both put thier hearts on the line to get the win.

WHAT A GREAT FIGHT. I would rather watch fights like that more than any UFC fight out there PERIOD!!!

I almost forgot to mention that callazo looked like he had been studying alot of joe calzaghe's film LOL. Not just the mockery of hands low style he tried when he was dominated in rounds 7 and 8. he showed the good sides also like how his combinations on the inside were Joe Calzaghe like. Throwing combinations everywhere on the inside and ducking at the precise moment to make berto miss badly and then poping up throwing fast combinations again. I guess he took the good and the bad from calzaghe LOL. He should have left the bad at home because he gave Berto rounds 7-8 and made me think he was completely out of gas. But then he made me think berto was out of gas. Dam that was a great fight.
