2 to 1 underdog would have been more accurate in my opinion. It was one of those fights that while close it's clear that Collazo won. Some fights are close and could have went either way. The point deduction pretty much sealed it for Collazo even if you scored the rounds even after 12. Collazo running out of steam pretty much cost him the fight. He basically gave away rounds 7-8 by not throwing any significant punches due to poor conditioning. He had to know that Berto was HBO's golden boy so should have fought with something to prove in the championship rounds.
Watched it again, 114-113 Berto was the right scorecard. Lederman got it wrong.. 6 and 7 were Berto's rounds. 116-111 is garbage. What was horrible is Papa saying there was a KD all night.. there was NO KD. Zero. Zilch. None.
