    Explaining his questionable tweet about Valero and his dead wife;

    “The comment was made, pretty much, in kind of the heat of a personal frustration for myself and what I was going through in my personal life with my girlfriend,..That comment wasn’t directed toward Jennifer at all. It was said out of frustration and I didn’t mean it that way at all. It wasn’t intentional."

    “Everybody who knows me or who has been around me knows I have the utmost respect for women in general. That’s just me, that’s just my morals, that’s the way I was raised. This was a tragic situation. Someone got killed. Why would anyone make a derogatory comment?”

    Apparantly his mom and sister were pissed at him as well. Another example of Twitter gone wrong.

    It was out of context with clearly no malicious intent. People just do not seem to grasp the fact that sometimes things come out in a way they are not meant to do.

    Does his comment give people the right to start talking **** about him aswell? I've seen countless comments about people saying he should have been in Haiti when the earthquake went off, or saying **** about his deceased relatives.

    The whole saga is a tragic ordeal, and it's developing into a vicious spiral. Everybody needs to stop making stupid, malicious and pointless comments and move the **** on.

    It was a daft comment which he obviously regrets so perhaps people should just let it go.

    I've said daft things in the past without thinking and I'm sure everyone else on here has too.

WTF didn't he understand when he heard the tradegy and how does his personal problems with he girlfriend have to do with the murder of Valero wife. Scum bag!!!

    It's good that he manned up but i reckon he lost a lot of fans for that comment was pretty tasteless

  15. The guy said something he didn't quite think all the way through. We've all done it. We've all voted for politicians that have done it... we've all paid ticket prices at concerts and sporting events where a musician or athlete has done it... all these "I'm no longer a Berto fan" and "I've lost all respect for Berto" comments are just you guys doing the same **** again. REALLY PEOPLE THINK THIS THROUGH.
