Berto isn't ready for somebody of Cotto's technical ability and Margarito's relentless workrate.

 

Hell no ... Berto fights nothing like Floyd ...

Berto gets hit alot and doesn't know how to block or duck punches.

He's very stubby and has very short arms ... add to that, he leaves himself open when throwing his combonations.

 

He still needs to prove himself with small fights against the likes of Collazo and Feliciano, then later Cintron and Quintana.

 

he fights like Floys minus the hook and the Defense mastery. therefore, he really doesn't fight like Floyd at all.

Out of interest at1 was Floyd a **** in sparring and thats why u hate him? You seem to dislike the kid

Berto is trying to copy Floyd's technique, which isn't necessarily a good thing because what works for 1 fighter doesn't necessarily work for another fighter. Especially if you copy some facets and ignore the defense and shot picking. Forget about setting traps and finding the right angles.

Berto also makes big mistakes no version of Floyd would make. IE lack of head movement, leaving himself exposed when throwing

So in terms of hitting a heavybag Berto does it aswell as Floyd. In terms of boxing NOPE

 

berto should face the judah v clottey winner, hopefully williams fights cotto and then the 2 unified champions fight for the undisputed championship

 

He has the same type of base style as Mayweather, or Toney.
