Well Berto is already more experienced in the pro game than Lacy was when he met Calzaghe. However, Berto does need to step it up. He has fought nothing but 140lbers, no-hopers and Hatton Victims. He is meant to be the WBC WW champion. I'd love to see him take on Mosley, Cotto, Quintana, Williams etc etc.

My guess is that he would loose all of those bouts and his jaw would be brutaly exposed as fine china.

    Right. Pardon my comparison..

Lacy was invicible upon entering the ring with Calzaghe.

BERTO as early as now, even with his undefeated record has shown some flaws on him and frustrating performance on his last two outings.

I think he is more talented than lacy, but that doesn't mean that he might not have the same faith as him. I think the biggest problem with Berto is his trainer. The guy was giving some really shitty advice.

I like the comparison but Berto has more talent in my opinion.

Berto doesn't need to step into a ring with a Calzaghe to get exposed(Collazo).

Berto just isn't that good, a top contender, but nothing more. He won't fight any of the top dogs of the division for a while.
