honestly, the guy has got such potential but he's just robbing himself of these oppurtunites fighting these no name fighters. i'd like to see him fight alvarez or jones

I think he s a welterweight jeff lacy. he s got the body- and the background, but the minute he faces a boxer with handspeed at world class he ll get beaten bad. he dosent have the intagible that a world class champ has- not ko power, no handspeed nor slick skills. every top elite boxer has that one superskill. he dosent have that thing he can go to the bank with.

no his skill set is way better then lacy.you know berto beat tim bradley twice in the ams and you knoe he also beat andre direll in the ams as well.berto has good skill, but his chin and cardio is in question.and its gone to take a top 2 or 3 ww to show us what he is really made of.

i say he needs to fight a mosley or a cotto.or just really both for the experience.

He would definitely be an upgrade for Paq or Mayweather, but they would both beat him.:good

    Agreed,

I don't know if he'll ever be ready for the likes of Pac or Floyd, but he could definitely be doing better work than what we've seen. He's a young undefeated title holder with a solid team in his corner, and I'd hate to see him squander his talent by fighting second raters for the next 3 years. It's time for him to step it up.
