Berto needs better comp

Berto needs to step it up and should have done so already. Actually if he would have faced just one more quality welterweight like Cintron or Clottey in place of someone Forbes or Urango then I don't think his resume would be all that bad. Collazo was a good fighter but the rest of his opponents have been big underdogs.

The big problem and the main reason his resume gets slammed is because he's a champion(with 5 defenses) and is always on HBO. Berto has been defending his title on HBO for big money against guys like Urango, Forbes, Hernandez, and an old Quintana while the 147 division has been stacked with guys like Mayweather, Pacquaio, Williams, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Cintron, etc. If he was just another contender and not given easy money by HBO he wouldn't be getting as much flack as he does.
