Why is it that Berto is tryin to talk **** to a guy that's already tied up in a fight (Mosley) when you got Cintron callin him out right now? Berto talks **** about Cintron's losses, but honesty, does Berto beat the Margarito (the one without handwraps) that beat Pac? I don't think so. Does Berto beat Paul Williams? Probably not. Does Berto beat Martinez? Hell no. And I know Cintron beat this guy, but does Berto beat Angulo? I haven't seen anything to prove he does. The fact is, Berto is still an unproven commodity, and to be honest, with Berto's chin issues and Cintron's length, strength, and power, this fight is AT LEAST 50/50. To be honest, if Cintron fufilled his athletic potential he would be a very dangerous man. Make this fight. This is a VERY competitive fight that would be FAN FRIENDLY. I think Berto is scared. Fight him Berto.
Cintron isn't an EASY fight for anybody. He's rangy, athletic, and he has a big right hand. Berto is faster and his defense has improved, but he still has holes in it, and his chin is very shaky. I think this is a great matchup. I don't see why Berto doesn't take the fight. Would you rather see him against Ortiz? Honestly, I can't see Ortiz beating Berto.
Waste of time? huh? Berto would be fighting a peer. He has done 0 to seperate himself from the other contenders, so fights like this should be his only options, not waiting around for some un-deserved shot at a name while fighting guys in fights that are actually a waste of time, like his last one.
Berto wants to get PAID, Cintron brings NOTHING to the table, Ortiz brings Berto more money and is a better fighter as well, neither guy beats Berto but atleast Ortiz has a fanbase.

Cintron isn't smart fight for Berto at this time, 5 mil payday is just right up ahead. It doesn't make sense to risk it.
Yeah it should happen and NO its not an easy fight for berto'....Dont forget berto got dropped by cosme rivera and was rocked!!....And most people dont feel he beat collazo...as of right now it's true he hasnt done anything to seperate himself from the rest ...HE IS ON THE SAME LEVEL AS cintron,collazo,peterson bros.Angulo,ortiz,.....I like the kid and have been following his career for the past few years ...but its time for him to step up and away from the ESPN level of compitition
How is Berto on the same level as Angulo, Ortiz, Collazo, or The Peterson Bros? He beat Collozo, and the others havenot only lost, but have never won a world title or beat anyone as good as Collazo or Quintana.
Berto didn't "clearly" beat Collazo. His best win is against Quintana. And i think Angulo would have tko Quintana if they ever fought imo.
Yea but Berto never fought Margarito, Williams, Martinez in which Cintron has. Sure Cintron lost to those 3 but he got more guts to fight those 3 then Berto in which you got to admit.
