Berto needs to regroup and get a new corner!!

    Why sweet Pea though? Pernell hasn't shown himself to be a quality trainer.

    Besides Berto isn't a defensive fighter. He just needed to utilize better foot work.

    He has done it before. Against Urango he was on the move, he didn't stand in front of Urango at all.

    Now Urango isn't Ortiz but the point is if you don't respect your opponent and you stand right in front of them trying to back them up.........there is a chance you get hurt, especially if the guy you are fighting can punch and your chin is average at best.

    Pernell hasn't show himself not to be a quality trainer. Judah looked much improved on defense in his last fight, and his footwork was better. The main thing is that Berto needs to change his style to be more effective against bigger fighters.

    A guy like Whittaker was a little guy, too. Yet, he was effective because of his elusiveness and quick hands. Giving some of his wisdom can only help Berto.

    emmanuel stewart is perfect for berto

    manny always transforms guys like he who has good jab no footwork lotta power and good hand speed

    the jab will become solid the footwork will keep him out of trouble he will be more composed berto will be back

    If I remember correctly at one point Bertos father in the background and his trainer were even saying contradicting things. Bertos father was yelling at Andre telling him to brawl and his trainer was telling him to box. If nothing else tell the father and brother to stfu.

    It also seemed like the trainer offered little to no advice and spent most of the minute doing absolutely nothing.

    pernells corners advice in the judah fight was nothing great, his corner work with spadafora sucks, his corner work with some bum on FNF also sucked.

    Berto needs to fight Margo after he talked all that **** or fight Cintron.

    He needs to bring "the real Berto" in that fight.
