While I fundamentally agree, Miguel Cotto might have a different point of view.

I wish we did, its the perfect fight for both fighters at this stage. One trying to redeem himself and the other trying to validate himself.

This might have something to do with his performance.

he's never really impressed me. like i said before, he's got fast hands, he puts his punches together well at times, but his defense will let him down.

How is the guy a hype job? Didn't Quintana outbox Paul Williams -- is he a hype job, too? Christ, Berto isn't Ali, but he's far from "hype" and he continues to get victories against decent opposition -- and I can't wait til he takes the last step up. And if he wins, great, if he loses, so be it -- it won't mean ****. I know ya'll will be hating on him callin him "exposed" because that's what ya'll do. ****in ****** ass bitches.

If you don't like BERTO, fine. He's not my fav fighter by any means, but he's a decent guy, brings excitement to the table most of the time. What the **** do you want?

    sheezaz krise

A dude does not GTFKO his opponent after going through some horrific personal **** and suddenly he is a hype job.

You guys sound like the douche bags in Monday morning sport talk radio. You freaking overreact to everything. The dude is not even in the P4P list and you cry like little girls.

Take it down a notch. It is a decent win. It is not some epic crap that is going to put him on some P4P list.

I think Berto was very fortunate to get the decision against Collazo, he is decent though, but I don't think he is top class at the moment.

I feel he has stamina issues, he does hold on a lot.

talking about paul williams, i actually think his defense will cost him agian a few times througout his career. very good on the offense, **** on the defense. it'll cost him again.

Those 3 will beat pretty much everyone at 147 handily. They're the top 3 rated p4p fighters on the planet. They are also all sure fire HOFers.

Berto missed some time and shook off alil rust.

Berto stopped a tough fighter in Quintana.Whats so horrible about that.He can get better with time.Berto has very good potential and i could see him going to the next level.

There is no shame if he did fight a mosley or a Pacquiao or Mayweather Jr and lost.It hasn't come to that.Lets give Berto credit where credits do.

I think Berto deserves credit for stopping Quintana in 8.Forget about the assumtions that he would lose to the three fighters i mentioned. The facts are that he didn't lose yet and he is beating the fighters infront of him right now,and he is the WBC welterweight champ. When the day comes and he does fight Mayweather or Mosley and Pacquiao, then we can judge the mans skill level. When he is tested like he has never been tested before.Thats when you know what a fighter is all about.
