To Arum credit he did basically say that Berto doesn't generate enough interest in the boxing world to secure a fight with PAC at this point. Which economically I understand but PAC would still make a lot of money facing Berto since he'd be able to get a larger slice of the pie.

Berto doesn't present anymore risk than Marg....actually he presents LESS of a risk... What PAC should take into consideration is Berto is young, prime and black. For the small group of those claiming PAC is steering away from African American boxers this should be enough to shut them up....at least some of them.

If PAC doesn't fight Berto it will NOT be the same as Floyd not fighting PAC. Simple reason is Floyd doesn't have anther option like Manny. Nothing makes more financial sense as well as adding to his legacy like a fight with PAC.

PAC on the other hand has PLENTY of options that will do the same if not MORE for his career and bankroll outside of Berto. Floyd in my honest opinion has only really ducked one fighter...that's PAC. All of the ducking with regards to Marg or Cotto was all just upset fans of the latino fighters....Floyd had other options that made just as much sense to him both financially and for his legacy. By facing baldo over Marg he beat the lineal champ and he made just as much paper...and he didn't have to take the bigger risk.

clottey has a body of work a list of opponents he has faced who are well know to the boxing public, go back and read arums recent statements, "nobody knows berto" are his words not mine. what would the story line be to sell berto to the general buying public of a ppv, give me a great fight against an elite established opponent he has been in. clottey had fought margarito, corrales , cotto, judah, plus he was a former champion he was a good b side opponent to pacquiao. berto is not a good b side yet he has belt point taken, but against who did he win that belt? list the elite opponents he has been in. how many ppv fights has he headlined, how many fights of the year does he have, pacquiao can sell a fight and do okay against berto but the key word is to "maximize" the total number of ppv and to have that you have to have a good b side opponent and berto is not there yet based on his star power or quality of opposition.

Ok, so again the point is simple, he's turned into "Money" Manny Pacqiauo, more power to him please just spare the "warrior", "I fight anybody", "Fights for the fans", bull****. He killed himself trying to make money, he got to the point he is and now he wants to do exactly what PBF is doing cash big checks, fighting with as little risk as possible. At least stop bashing PBF for the same **** Manny is doing now.

Roy Jones Jr. has better names on his resume than Haye so he deserves to fight Wlad and Vitali

Yeah, but I think Berto is a better fight than Mosley. Pacquiao should fight Berto instead.

100% true! :thumbsup I'm tired of Berto getting hand hed easy fights.
    He can:
    Rematch Collazo
    Fight Shane
    Fight Cintron
    Fight Williams
    Fight Cotto
    Fight Margarito...

He has plenty of optuions, and all more realistic then a fight w/ Pac or Floyd.

I am not bashing floyd mayweather jr you should read the post in my profile about the talk i had with him years and years ago at the little ceaser's pizza one on one only me him and the cashier i got nothing but good things to say about him as a person a true gentleman. i am not a fan of floyd as a boxer but as a person he treated me as an equal talk about him holding the door for me as we were both going into the pizza place even though i was a good 10 to 12 feet away and it was winter time here in vegas especially since it was at night. maybe the money and the fame has changed him but to me he was a true gentleman, please go into my profile and read the post or story i wrote about the conversation i had with him.
