Sorry bro, I gotta disagree. Yes, I'm a big critic of Berto, but I wouldn't class myself as a "hater", I just wanna see him prove himself against the top guys. And I really don't think anyone on this board would class Ortiz as a "top guy".

For me, it's not the size difference between the 2, that's negligible. It's the class difference. Berto's already beaten up all the B-level guys he's faced, we know he can do that. I wanna see him against some A-level comp, that's all. And who on here really thinks that Ortiz is A-level?

Not really excited about either fight. Would have rather seen Peterson or Prescott for the Khan fight. And Berto should have fought his Mando Seluck Aydin to keep the belt. I would have really liked to see Berto and Cintron...or Mike Jones.

As for Mccloskey, its not the best opponent in the world, but Mccloskey is rated #10 overall in the Jr. WW division by Ring magazine, so he's certainly not a "bad" opponent, just not a very good one.

 

Mathysse would be a good fight too, Not one I expect him to take though. I watched some of McCloskeys highlights, The style match up favors Khan. Khan is going to light him up with straights at long and mid-range.

 

mcloskey is taking a huge step up in class and is gunna his ass kicked.

the berto v ortiz fight is interesting. im not a big fan of any of them but i want berto to woop his ass. but ortiz does have power but i dnt ortiz really wants it. i want to see if anyone lands sum bombs n see how either of these guys react.

 

Ortiz is a very dangerous puncher, if he connects flush on Berto it's gonna be interesting to see how he reacts.
