WOW... Just WOW. Ortiz may have a bigger frame but it takes time to get used to extra weight. Berto will be the much bigger man on fight night!

 

I want to see khan fight prescott just to shut the critics up. fighting the only man that gave you an L makes sense to me.

To be honest, Ortiz has faced better oposition in Top 15 LWW's with Maidana, Pearson and that other guy, who he stopped in 3. Berto doesnt have many top fighters, only Collazo and Urango that spring to mind.

 

:-( This **** is Hilarious. So Andre Berto ONLY fights "Smaller" fighters. Why is this the consensus opinion? Because he fought Juan Urango and Now fighting Victor Ortiz? So because of two fights....the universal thought is that He (Berto) only fights "Smaller" fighters. Ok...if you have no problem with labeling a fighter solely based on two fights within his career, then a certain fighter being labeled: "THE CATCHWEIGHT KING" shouldn't be met with so much opposition then, RIGHT? I mean two contracted catchweights and a requested 3rd catchweight versus a fighter they blatantly declined to fight (some say ducked) after requesting that particular fighter weigh NO MORE than 142lbs, while this particular fighter hasn't fought below 147lbs since 1999....Only to then opt to fight him after he NO Longer looks like the fighter he used to be. Hmmmm Interesting:think.

And of course there are the large number of posters who are complaining that Berto should fight tougher competition. As these people/posters/fans are not awre that Andre Berto signed to fight Mosley long before Mayweather and Pacquiao even thought about fighting the future Hall of Famer. But they somehow believe that Berto was a a former X-Men with Magical Powers and created an Earthquake that allowed him to cancel the fight. And of course no-one remembers the two occaisions when Berto said after fights with Quintana and Hernandez that he would LOVE a fight with Manny Pacquiao ON LIVE TV. And of course No-one recalls Andre Berto and 'his people" stating that they are available for a March fight with Miguel Cotto. I hope these people/posters/fans truly understand, that if FACTS are not important...then we can NEVER have a healthy debate.

It's amazing how people/posters/fans arbitrarily choose to what fighters/posters they label, especially when is suits/fits their AGENDA!!!

he holds a paper title which he only won because floyd vacated it, he is a ***** who is avoiding collazo at all costs, he said he's willing to go upto 154 to fight cotto but since cotto is busy why doens't he go up to fight cintron (he's willing to come down), angulo, kirkland, margarito, paul williams, or why doesn't he give selcuk aydin the shot he's been waiting for, for so long.

Oscar de La Hoya and Jo Jo Dan all have fought former lightweight Steve Forbes. And I don't recall seeing any outrage from you about their fights with Forbes. Collazo hasn't fought in almost 2 years...so his inactivity leads me to believe he has no plans to fight anyone. So because no rematch with Berto never happened...this somehow translate into you thinking that Berto is ducking him:-(....REALLY? Angulo's name hasn't been circulating anywhere, last I heard he was going through some leagal issues...So again, because Berto vs Angulo fight is not signed, this somehow translate into you thinking that Berto is ducking him too:-(....REALLY? I don't know if you were aware...but Kirkland was IN JAIL. and I don't know if HBO has the power to sanction a fight in a Prison:-(. And what fighter comes out of prison and fights an Top-Level Belt-Holder. It's only reasonable to expect Kirkland to fight a tune-up...but then again, I am using common sense and logic:-(.

I know this information is kinda' hard to find out since it's so cleverly hidden But Margarito was suspended then had a fight with Pacquiao recently:-(....So from those recent events, it seems to me that Margarito was busy. Williams Just came off a devastating loss, so I would imagine that a fight right now is not his main priority. As far as Aydin....A fighter that has two GIFT decision in his first 20 fights, doesn't seem like a fighter anyone would try to duck.....SERIOUSLY!!!! In fact....where is your outrage for Aydin not giving Dan a rematch after that recent gift decision.

Look, I get it...you don't like Berto, Peterson, Mayweather, Judah (kind of a theme here huh?) but to hide behind words like, bum, duck, *****, ***, and a bunch of other "educated" superlatives you like to use....is just Cowardly. Man-up and KEEP IT REAL!!!
