    Over at the scene

"Trace amounts of nandrolone were in insignificant parts-per-trillion range such that it is consistent with contamination and not intent"

This is ****ing great news if it's true and the fight will be saved. Even if the fight isn't saved, it's still good for Berto's team having this information get out showing he wasn't trying to cheat. Damn I hope the fight is still on though! Will wait for further information on this.. Maybe some of us labeled Berto too early?

I hope it is true. I want to see this rematch. This was nothing like Petersen.

You know what you're right. He could have taken 5 molecules of nandrolone intentionally in order to gain an advantage over the tree. A cheat through and through :patsch

I know a bunch of 4 and 5 letter words have come out of my mouth every time I've seen a Berto picture since I got wind of the failed test. If it stands true he didn't cheat, I will gladly take back everything I've said and learn I need to wait for the full information before labeling someone.

    Android Berto. :deal

False positives are far more damaging than false negatives. All of this information should've been made available in the initial report. If this turns out to be true Berto has taken a shitload of undue criticism and may never shake the stigma. This would be massive failure for VADA.

I still think both Peterson and Berto are "clean" fighters so to speak.

I mean Berto had a torn biscep and Peterson's MAN levels were down. He didn't take any sort of crazy **** to gain a REAL edge.

This drug thing is getting a bit out of hand with these tiny traces of whatever the ****. Things in supplements and dietary **** is bound to have something that isn't "okay" or "performance enhancing". I just feel if your not pulling some serious blood doping **** or roids its all good in the hood.

I feel OSTD is great AND A MUST, but I think with this sort of new testing there needs to be clearer guidelines as to protocol for mentioning of taking medical "pellets" or whatever prescription concoction might test dirty and ruin whatever reputation you have and have a bunch of angry keyboard fans calling you this or that.

With new testing, new problems will arise. A lot of these problems will seem like people getting exposed. I think as more people switch to this style testing and more things get sorted out we will raise a new paradigm for testing that is effective and better for the sport as a whole.

As far as boxing goes and this rematch...I hope so...because Lopez/Ortiz is ****in garbage.

Wasn't there a soccer team that blamed a failed drug test on contaminated meat recently ?

  15. Good news if the reports are true.

Bertos time has been long overdue. Constant setbacks hopefully he hasn't ****ed it for himself. Big upset losing to Ortiz the first time
