Both manage to land a flush shot at the same time and knock each other out cold...I would be a very happy man if this happened.
I think people are going to be a little surprised at Victors size. I think he'll come in the ring a lil bit heavier than Berto but he's still gonna get TKO'd!
Which is sad that Hernandez is the barometer for Berto. Ortiz for all his glass heartness at least takes on better challenges.
Better then Mikki Rodriguez, better then Noberto Bravo,Better then Martinus Clay, better then a 147 Steve Forbes
Sweet! Wear somerthing so we can point you out in the crowd. IF you are going ringside that is. :good
Glad this is finally official. I think this is a fun fight and slightly unpredictable. Berto should win but maybe Ortiz will finally bring the goods? Maybe he was draining too hard to make 140?
Its the price he pays for having picked up a title too young. Im afraid Canelo might suffer the same faith. Although he seems more willing to take on tough challenges.
I just spoke to my Pops and my best boxing bud they are both down, and I know they got that tax return $$$ coming so I can count on them. If they front...I'll just take wifey. It's my B-day I can't miss this. Plus my Pops use to ref Berto in the AMS and Berto as an AM use to train in my father's gym so I know he is not going to flake. I'll get "Ring Master" put on a fitted hat just so everyone can see.
Well this could be interesting. You got Berto's straight vs Ortiz's left hook. Im gonna go with berto on this one, but to be honest, they both have suspect chins. 50/50 fight if you ask me.
Im going with berto for this fight, he has a good record which includes wins over established southpaws such as quintana and collazo, he is alot better than many people give him credit for, and seems to fight to the level of his opponent, hopefully he can kick this habit in his next fight and start on a run of some impresive highlight reels. Take out the top dogs either side of his weight division, i.e Alvarez, khan Bradley and then Pac when he is ready. i see a bright future for him.
Compared to a 147 Juan Urango, a faded Carlos Quintana, and Freddy Hernandez this is actually a step up for Berto.
