This is a good fight and a very good test for Berto, this is much better than the proposed Berto-Mallignaggi fight. Its been a couple years since Quintana beat Williams and Julio, if he is still that guy I think he'll ko Berto. But I get the feeling Quintana's inactivity is going to get to him here and Berto should win. Berto by late ko.

Playing baseball is STILL somewhat of an athletic activity

This is a pretty decent fight I think. Berto is still working on some things and Quintana is the sort of guy who does great when the pressure isn't on him.

Johnson vs Cloud worries me a little bit...but I'll be fulling for Johnson all the way.

I talked to Quintana yesterday at a local track where he was doing his roadwork and he looks pumped for the chance of another belt. He seems to be in decent shape also, maybe a bit heavy, but not flabby just big.
The quintana that beat PW would beat Berto in my opinion, but I think that he has been just too damn inactive these past years.

Yeah he has been really inactive. That can be a pretty big problem!

Berto wins most likely. Quintana just isn't the same fighter that beat Paul Williams and I'm growing gray hairs as I wait for his return to the ring. Sheesh he's worse than Dawson! Should be an easy victory for Berto unless Quintana comes prepared and in shape.

Berto UD in classic, Berto fashion. He'll just outwork Quintana while not look good doing it, missing most of his head hunting shots. Quintana will have plenty of counter moments, maybe even a KD.

I like Cloud UD over Johnson.

If I'm not mistaken, Quintana last fought on the unaired PTP-Martinez under-card back in December.

Not many options are available never mind better options particularly in the ww division.

Quintana like Berto is promoted by Dibella which makes him a convenient opponent along with being a reputable one.

aww man quintana is ok but no better then collazo, i think this fight for beto will keep him in the same spot.its not a step back but not forward either.let berto fight cintron at 147 if cintron can get the fight with pw which i know he will.

is that all left for berto is quintana ? well i guess after everything he has been going thru as of late this is a good fight for him.id rather see collzao get a rematch to be honest with you.

for a veteran fighter like quintana inactivity is not that bad, he has time to rejuvenated and heal his body from all the wear and tear boxing puts on you, plus he fought in december and if he can at least spar close to 100rds before the fighthe'll be ok
